PlanX! our new planning simulation, combines the power of role plays with detailed strategic and tactical planning sessions.
Small teams of delegates are provided with information on a cohort of customers distributed across a number of accounts. The type of customers and business planning environment is determined by current issues within the client company, and the objectives required from the programme.
PlanX! covers a series of planning cycles. In the initial strategic planning session, the teams need to identify a set of customer calls that they wish to make. They can plan coverage, frequency, and sequencing of customers. Of these calls the team needs to identify a subset that they will conduct as role plays.
The simulation software performs comparisons between the plans produced by each team and the ‘ideal’ plan, and produces scores that contribute towards the overall sales progression in each account, along with the role play performance scores achieved by each team.
Additionally, the simulation software is utilised to control the role plays and display graphical analyses during the review sessions. This encourages a healthy, competitive environment and helps ensure that the participants have fun but stay focussed.
Following the programme a detailed performance management report is produced, at individual delegate level. This can be linked to personal development plans.
